this one came with my bug and its great to have…i love the little purse and bags that it makes…it also has a nice certificate cutout that i use alot for things.

JenI bought some vinyl and made a professional looking sign (Using fonts from this cartridge) for a local charity and saved a small bundle of money…
This cartridge is a must have..especially for beginners…
I also got this cartridge with my machine. I am new to using the cricut but this cartridge made it very easy to make a card for my Grand Daughters Birthday. You choose the letters and the size. She just turned seven and when she opened the card she said, ” I know you made this because they don’t sell cards with my name on them.”
GladysI don’t own this one but hope to one day. I have used it at a crop and really liked the result. I love the font and it has a scallop like border that would be great to have available.

I have this one and to be honest I haven’t used it as much as the others but after reading some of the comments I must sit down and just try it. I do like the shapes you can get from this cartridge.

JennieferThis is the first cartridge I tried with my new Expressions machine I received at Christmas. It is a very useful and dynamic cartridge with lots of things that can be used in many applications. I haven’t had a chance to use it much and it was a great cartridge to start on. My kids enjoyed what came out of it as well!
BrendaThis is a good basic font that can be used for lots of different projects. I just got my Cricut Expression and have already put this one into use!
DezMy first cartridge. It has lots of creative feature keys. Love the Roly Poly for making fat letters easy to kern with the Design Studio. The End Caps make wonderful tags. Shapes such as hearts, stars, apples, and flowers are great with the autofill feature of the Cricut Expression. I plan to use the basket, bucket and mailbox from the Doodlecharms and fill them with hearts for Valentine’s Day Cards.
AnnI got the Plantin with my Expression and I really like it. The first thing I did was cut out really big letters of my kids’ names so they can make a sign for their door. I really like the tag w/end caps option with cut out letters in the middle. Very cool. I look forward to using it more. I just purchased Mini-Mongrams, Opposites Attract, and Base Camp. I will post notes once I use them.
SharaneThis one isn’t a bad Font cartridge. There are some other accessories that you can make with it as well, but it is a good starter font cartridge.
AmandaI used this cartidge to make a for rent sign when my house was ready to rent. The letters were perfect and it didn’t cost am arm and a leg in ink if I used my computer.

I am also new to Cricut, and love it already. I have 3 cartridges and use them all equally. It would be hard to pick just one. I hope to get many more, everyone should at least try it, especially if your into making cards. Linda
LindaI also love this cartridge. I share it with my neice and i like that there is both small and large letters.They are really easy to cut out and use no matter what size you use.
LizThis is a great basic all purpose cartridge. The font is great. Basic shapes are always useful (wish it had a triangle). The tags, bags, cards, envelopes, flowers, ect. are a plus. If you only have one cart, this is a good one.
CheyenneI received Plantin SchoolBook along with my Expression Cricut. I particulary enjoy making certificates for various accomplishments of the children and others. I like the variety of styles for the letters and numbers. This is a “must have” in my opinion.
MonaI have others but this is by far the one that gets used the most. My girl scout troop loves to make the bags and put little items in them for the senior citizens home. Just got TBBM so we will see if this one knocks plantin off the #1 spot for them
DeLoisThis is the first cartridge I used because it came with my cricut expression. I love the signs and cards that you can create with this. Teaches you how to begin and make your first project. I also love the Potporri cartridge. I just decorated a terrra cotta flower pot for my pumpkin plant. Came out real nice and the neighbors want me to make one for them now.
MikeUsing the Plantin cartridge is the first one I have used while getting to know my cricut machine. It is really easy and after looking at the DVD that came with the cricut I was encouraged to try making the envelope and card. The printed paper for the envelope was a little hard to remove from the mat so it got a little creased but the tagboard card inself worked great. I cut flowers from the same cartridge in different sizes and cut enough on the same sheet to store for other cards.

jaydensmamaI just recently purchased my Cricut Expression. I have been exploring all the different cartridges I received at the same time. The Plantin Schoolbook is great! I had seen a demo of the little round bag so the first thing I made was that! I have used a few of the letters, but I certainly see using a whole bunch more as time goes on. I believe this is one of the staple cartridges that everyone should have!
Sara E.I think this is great font cartridge. My favorite part about it is the italic button that you can use to make the shapes on the cartridge different. For example Turn the apple from a skinny one, to a fat one, to one that has a bite taken out of it. How fun!
HeatherI love it. It is one of the ones that came with my cricut expression. I like to do lots of headings. I love the rollie polly function, it gives a bit kidish looking. on the letters A U O it brings ount the shape of the letter better. and makes them look better I think ( specialey in the 1/2 size.)
Kristy II received my expression on monday and by saturday I was making decopage clipboards with my 8 year old niece. Her first words when she saw the machine was ” that is so awesome”. We had a lot of fun using the plantin school cartridge, she really liked the roly poly. We are planning on doing a sleepover with her friends before school starts so that they can make “awesome” things too.

LyzFor my mother’s birthday I made the bags and filled them with some sweets. These where “thank you” gifts for her friends which had attented her birthday. And each bag was personelisted with the name’s of her friends and the date of my mother’s birthday.
Not soon after some friends have been asking me to make the bags for party’s.
I must say, I’m happy that I bought the Expression. I can make bigger things, compared to my personal cricut.
Even my husband enjoys helping my, fold the bags.
I also received this cartridge with my Cricut Expression…with one child still in elementary school and I in high school I use this cartridge for decorating the board outside their classrooms and scrapbook pages. I just made soccer certificates for my son’s team and the kids and parents just loved them. I have about 26 cartridges and this is one I use on a regular basis.

I like to make the tags/strips that you can put shapes (apple, flower, heart etc…) on each of the ends … made a great Mom’s Day card using that feature.
KerryThis cartridge saved me countless hours. I was putting together a VBS for our church this year. We are a smalll congretation, so we are cost conscience. We had to do many of the background, props, and crafts by ourselves. The Plantain Schoolbook cartridge had every single font, and design I needed! The children enjoyed the VBS and even asked for the Plantiain Cricut desinged banners to take home with them. They said it was the best VBS they’d been to ever!

This cartridge came with my Cricut Expression machine and I use it all of the time. The font is great for just about anything from scrapbooking to bulletin boards. I also use it to decorate our fellowship hall at church. It was my first cartridge and I love using it.

CherylI absolutely love the Storybook Cartridge. It is like having six cartridges in one. I have used this for card accents, Home Decor,Decorating Gift Bags and for Scrapbooking.Sooooo many options on each Feature. Love It!
Rita StephensCartridges … I love the Home Decor and the Home Accent Cartridge. They make it easy to make wall accents in old frames with very little effort.
My favorite Christmas Cartridges are Christmas Noel and The Joys Of Christmas. They have awsome images.
