Blackletter 
My Take:
From the solutions range of Cricut Cartridges comes Blackletter. As the name would suggest this is a font cart but before you go, “oh no, not another one” this has it’s own unique style. As the letters have an Olde English look to them. Along with the font you also have 20 images. While just as with other solutions carts the creative features are limited to just shadow and blackout.
The cart contains a font which has both upper and lower case letters. Though it’s only the upper case letters which have the Olde English look. Along with the letters you also have the numbers 0 – 9 and the punctuation marks such as a question mark. You also get three words which are “and”, “the” and “to.” The images have some pretty nice shapes such as Celtic cross and a coat of arms making this cart great for ancestry type projects along with family trees.
If your looking for a cart to add a little touch of elegance to your projects then your search is over. As what could be more elegant than a bit of ye olde English. 
Though of course the font has other useful such as Halloween and renaissance fair related projects.

I like this cartridge. The font is great for hallowee layouts. It’s also not as feminine as some of the fonts. I have lots of guys to make cards and layouts for so it’s good for that.
It’s also has some great scrolls and shapes too!
Bought it for the fancy capital letters. I wanted it to do tiles with. Unfortunately, I just haven’t had time to use it!

My brother and I had a running joke about this font so when I saw it, I couldn’t resist! Worth every penny! I used this in combination with the Cricut Cake machine to make GREAT letters for a cake! Easy and the letters/symbols aren’t too intricate.
