Disney Dreams Come True
Everyone knows all little girls love anything to do with princesses so it should come as no surprise that Disney have released a cart which is chock full of them. The Disney dreams come true cart contains shapes of all your favourite Disney princesses. Along with flesh/hair, outfit/outfit, white/extra, icon, base/icon and charm creative features.
As you’d expect Ariel, Belle, Jasmine and Pocahontas are all present, with serval different shapes including one of just the face available for each. Also included are their friends such as Genie, Beast and Flounder.
At first you may be put off by the fact that each shape is many layered meaning it must be really complicated to put together. When in actual fact putting them together is really hard to mess up as you can use the black cutout as a guide for placing other pieces. Which makes it more like putting together a puzzle and can be lots of fun in its own right. The finished product is also high quality as they look exactly like the character. Though they do look much nicer if you cutout a shadow for them
This is a great cart that brings your favourite Disney princesses to life making it a great addition to your cricut cart collection.
I used this one to make my daughter’s birthday invitations with. Her favorite Princess is Ariel and just using the shadow feature, I cut out her castle in pink colored cardstock. I attached it to another piece of cardstock and then did a vellum overlay with the information printed in aqua. It turned out really cute and we had lots of comments on creative it was. As a bonus, I cut out the Ariel shilloutte with an oval to go behind it and used it as a “seal” for the envelopes. I am really behind, but can’t wait to scrap this birthday!
I have the Dreams Do Come True cartridge, and I like it as long as you make 4 inch die cuts or bigger. If you use the smaller size-it’s hard to get the little pieces stuck where you need them to be. Maybe I’m using the wrong type of adhesive-any suggestions?
this was hard to use.it was hard to get everything to be in proportion with he rest when using markers
i love this cartridge but if you don’t have the cricut expressions some of the cuts just won’t turn out right
This cartridge is alot of fun. It’s alot like putting together a puzzle but they look great when they are done. They can be used for making cards, scrapbook pages and even other crafts. I made foam door hangers with 3″ busts of the princess and theywere a great success. My next plan is to make 12″ full view princesses for my daughter’s Castle Bed. You can also use them for wall art. I’m very glad that I purchased it along with the Happily Ever After Cartridge.
I love this cartridge! I used it when decorating my daughter’s room. I did several of the characters with cardstock and then laminated them prior to hanging them up on the walls. This was one of my first cartridges, but didn’t use it until I bought the cricut expressions. It was just too hard to do the smaller sizes because of the tiny detail layers.
I love this cartridge there are alot of different options to use other then “princess”. The only complaint I have is that to be able to cut some of the more intricate pieces you really should have a fresh blade and mat. I may be the only one that has this issue, though; I have come to the conclussion to have a blade & mat for just the fine detail things I would like to cut.
Just got this cartridge along with happily ever after… I have 2 little girls age 6 and 1, and a new baby on the way (not sure if its a boy or girl yet) but if its is another girl I am sure that they will come in handy for a long time…I love how their are so many extras on them, there really is no limit on what you can create outside of what the cartridge is supposed to be used for.
i love this cartridge. it adds such a pop to all pages. i use it alot for my pages.
