i made a seed packet caddy with small seed packets in it to fill and trade with others who also love to garden. be it vegetables or flower seeds to trade! i posted picture of caddy on scrappyaccents.com under poohbear- photos. i used a couple designs from botanicals. the bird flying with an envelope in its beak and the bird sitting on top of the birdhouse. i just cut off the post of the birdhouse to make it fit caddy. i thought that was cute for trading gift. not expensive and not too much decorating to do. i made my own templates for the caddy. has alot of beautiful flowers. good for nature projects. i’m making seed packets and caddies for other family members who love to grow flowers and vegetables. i have ordered some seeds on-line for landscaping ideas and intend to share some with each of them by putting a few seeds in each seed packet and labelling them and give them the caddy for xmas so come spring they’ll have some seeds to plant on their own time. i will mix and match the seed packets so they can also trade amongst themselves and other friends. so some seed packets will be empty for seeds they already have in their possession just waiting!
