Hi, I have been using the cricut ever since it first came out. I have now been able to use my cartridges to combine different pieces to make one that is not offered on any of the cartridges
Most cartridges have circle cuts, I used accent essentials, or christmas cheer made a circle for a head in black a heart shaped white face ( walk in my garden bleeding hearts flower) a bigger black circle for a body and smaller white circle for belly, a butterfly (from Storybook) one in black one in gold same size cut in half I used the top half in black for wings and bottom half in gold for the feet. I then used a hat from celebrations and cut it down to look like a winter cap and a candy cane from christmas cheer in the right hand(wing)and lastly a scarf from the snowman on christmas cheer. After all that its a penguin and the cutest one ever. I would put a pic here but cant seem to figure that out if its even possible but feel free to email me I’ll send you a pic. I also have used a flower from walk in my garden the 5th one in, cut it out 5 times in 5 different primary colors, cut a petal off each color and pasted it on 1 whole flower leaving one of them from the base. Then a circle for a head a a heart for a beak a heart in half for the thingy on a turkey’s beak and 2 hearts for his feet. a larger circle for the belly and wings from the christmas ball on christmas cheer (face, body wings in brown) Making the cutest turkey.Once again email me for a photo. See outside the box and the cartridges open up a whole new world. They have to me. I have about 20 or more cartridges now and love everyone of them. mix and match cut and paste the skies the limit. Happy Cutting!! Diane
Just got this one this week and have only used it once, but it is so cute. I made some book markers with peoples names, they turned out SO adorable. When I finished with them I laminated them and used cordinating ribbon to tie on the end. Cute, cute, cute!!
